1973’s ‘Larks’ Tongues In Aspic’ represented a key moment in King Crimson’s evolution, with the addition of four new members, many of which had backgrounds in jazz, adding elements of Eastern European classical music and free improvisation to Robert Fripp’s progressive rock template.
