Dee Dee Ramone's infamous solo debut, 'Standing in the Spotlight' is a controversial, confusing and extremely interesting piece of music history. Considered an absolute failure at the time of its release, it is a fun and pioneering album in which Dee Dee mixes his unstoppable Punk personality with strong doses of old school Hip Hop and a touch of his passion for 50's music. A weird, charming and mind bending release from one of Punk's most iconic, troubled and talented figures, no Ramones collection is complete without this oddity.
