Moby Grape
Endless Happiness (HE67003)
Release date: Nov 24, 2023, Russia
Moby Grape emerged from the creative vision of Alexander "Skip" Spence, who transitioned from drums to rhythm guitar following his departure from Jefferson Airplane due to divorce. Riding the wave of the hippie movement, Moby Grape burst onto the scene in June 1967 with an ambitious debut album comprising eight tracks. The album, designed to resonate with the hippie culture, showcased a diverse array of eclectic and eccentric songs such as "Hey Grandma," "Fall On You," "As In The Morning," and "Changes." At a time when acid-rock was pushing the boundaries of experimentation, Moby Grape delivered an album brimming with innovative compositions.
