Hurdy Gurdy
Hurdy Gurdy
Vinyl reissue of this legendary Danish progressive hard rock album. The trio's sole release, this 1972 album is considered one of the top Danish rock records of all time. The furious guitar playing of Claus Bohling is the band's secret weapon, deftly maneuvering through heavy progressive, blues and jazz. Though there are evident influences from Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath, they aren't mere imitators but have a unique approach, particularly in the Eastern-influenced sitar-heavy tracks. Original artwork, gatefold sleeve. Awesome!
