Who da man? Whodamanny! Nom de pluming producer Raffaele Arcella resurfaces on Periodica with 'Placebo / Loca Loca', a 7" Italo double-header steeped in lame sparkle and humid Latin swagger. Catapulting his own Biloba label to near-instant renown, Arcella returns to familiar chrome plated turf, flexing his knack for analog sleaze. 'Placebo' and 'Loca Loca' tumble their percussion and chirpse with winking vocal snatches: it's the sound of disco braving and finessing the risk of sunstroke, unwilling of its own accord to come home from the beach.
