The Novells

"An obscure garage band from Los Angeles, released locally in 1968, who still remain relatively unknown within collector circles. The Novells offer a nice garage / psych mix, with a certain pop side. A mix of original compositions and some covers, the album delivers a strong, effective organ sound and some nice fuzz guitar, giving it a real psychedelic Doors vibe. Surprisingly well produced for being a private release, makes for a nice discovery for any psychedelic garage collector. Limited to 500 copies, with remastered sound and preserving the original artwork."
