One of those mythical tunes talked about in hushed tones whenever two or three collectors gathered together. Heavily rotated by Jah Shaka and other sounds back in the late 70's, some tiny quantity must have been released at the time, with an even smaller amount making it to the UK on import on the 12 Tribes' Orthodox label, rarely seen or heard, original copies have sold for two or three hundred pounds. Now, Jah Fingers excels himself with this beautiful sounding reissue. Not your typical roots / Shaka fare, Kill The Devil has a sprightly ska flavour, in the manner of Capital Letters' Smoking My Ganja, though being an instrumental, sans vocals. Another long-felt want finally satisfied.
